Hello, I’m Esther
As a photographer who is passionate for outdoor adventures, I take my camera everywhere I go. I’m often found in the mountains – climbing up steep walls to photograph climbers in the vertical, skinning up deep snow in search of untouched powder, or hiding in the bushes to capture serene wildlife. It feels incredibly rewarding to record that split second of connection between light, landscape and movement. Sharing these moments in an effort to show that this earth is worth protecting – this is what fuels my photography.
When I’m not in the mountains, you can find me in a laboratory, exploring the world at a molecular level. Thanks to my profession, I am surrounded by people from all over the world and deeply grateful to work in such a multicultural environment. I have also had the pleasure to live in multiple countries, including Germany, Spain, the UK and the USA. Currently, my partner and I have our basecamp in Basel, Switzerland, from where we plan our new adventures.
